We're happy to announce our mobility analysis result was adopted at UNICEF’s Office of Innovation in its big data initiative. This initiative is called ‘Magic Box’ and it was set with aim to study and predict the effects of physical distancing on Covid-19 responses.

We contributed to this initiative by quantifying the impact on work in Spain and disaggregating mobility (into age and gender) in Tokyo, showing that young people are the ones that are most affected by lockdowns. It is a great honor for us to work with UNICEF Office of Innovation to increase data and analytical capacity and forming collaborations to help fight this disease.
